Depicted below is the acoustical ceiling recently installed at La Boulange Café, a quaint and popular bakery tucked into the coziness of Strawberry Village in Mill Valley.

Now note the clever design of these mineral-wool panels strategically placed on the ceiling to circumvent the light fixtures dangling from their 14-foot height. By simply offsetting each section one inch from the ceiling during attachment, we created an acoustical cavity which traps and absorbs sound. And in this practical process, we were thrilled to have saved La Boulange Café a pretty penny … or three!

This is my stop when in Mill Valley. Funny I had noticed a difference but could not put finger on it. Thumbs up to products and blog. Good luck in making more of a difference.
